Gurgitate

If regurgitate means to cause to surge or rush back; vomit; to give back or repeat, especially something not fully understood or assimilated, does gurgitate mean to ingest; take in new information?

Teachers always told be not to regurgitate information they gave us.  So if someone told me some new information, could I say, "Let me gurgitate that for a second"?

I was just thinking about it...

    1. I was not able to leave a comment on your other blog but I wanted to say thank you for the pictures and the review of the "kick off" event -- your Blue Ribbon Walk. It helped me feel in some small way that I was there. The pictures were an inspiration. YOU are an inspiration. I pray for your continued support and blessings as you move forward in this amazing and compassionate gesture of love and understanding ~~Laura
